The 153rd Anniversary Concert and Ball will be held the evening of January 30, 2010. Also known as The Academy Ball, the Anniversay Concert is held each year at the Academy of Music, followed by a night of dining, drinking and dancing at the adjacent Park Hyatt at the Bellevue. The concert put on by the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the event is white tie. The Ball is one of the highlights of the Philadelphia social calendar. This year's special guest perfomer is Sting!
